The Tullamore Regeneration Framework aims to position Tullamore as a model for urban regeneration, focusing on compact growth, vibrant public spaces, and sustainable mobility. It aligns with the “Town Centre First” policy, which seeks to make town centres vibrant hubs for living, working, and exploring, and strengthen their role as central hubs for services and social activities.

Tullamore Regeneration Framework also presents a forward-looking vision for the town, focusing on revitalizing vacant, derelict, and under utilised sites in the town centre. It emphasises public realm enhancements, sustainable access, and permeability strategies. The framework also incorporates a series of tailored public realm projects, developed through opportunities identified during public consultations and detailed analysis.

DCU Student Housing

BSM acted as planning consultants for the DCU Student Accommodation scheme on the main DCU Glasnevin Campus. The proposed scheme will include 1,240 bed spaces and communal living facilities, arranged across seven blocks of accommodation, ranging from 4 to 10 storeys in height. A sequence of landscaped ‘garden rooms’ provide defined external recreation spaces for residents and allow public access through the site.

BSM are appointed as Planning Consultant & Environmental Consultants to the Land Development Agency (LDA) delivering c. 400 units on a site owned by Dublin City Council which has been identified for regeneration
