Visualisation, Landscape, Environment

Desktop and onsite review of proposed route corridor as it leads from Docklands through City Centre locations, alongside the Royal Canal, through a number of suburban settlements and continuing on to Maynooth where a large scale train depot will be established.

Landscape and Visual Impacts relate principally to installation of overhead power lines, necessary interventions to historic stone arched bridges along the canal, construction of pedestrian and cycle steps, ramps and bridges to facilitate closure of existing level crossings, and provision of a new state of the art train depot facility at Maynooth.
