Beamish Crawford

Urban Design, Landscape, Visualisation

The Beamish and Crawford Quarter lies in the southwestern portion of the island of Cork City bound by the south channel of the River Lee and leading to a network of Medieval Streets of the city centre.

A series of public realm and streetscape enhancements will improve pedestrian and cycle access in and around the Medieval Core of the City creating a high-quality pedestrian and cycle network of streets that will animate and sustain the Beamish & Crawford Quarter of Cork City. Two new pedestrian bridges will cross the River Lee will provide greater pedestrian and cycle connectivity to surrounding destinations such as Elizabeth Fort, St Finbarr's Cathedral and UCC.

We are also involved in the design and delivery of the adjoining Bishop Lucey Park.
