BSM worked closely with Arup to undertake multi-disciplinary initial analysis and design pioneering, interim design proposals and leading to the final preferred scheme.
The projects provide bus priority over private vehicles as well as upgraded pedestrian pathways and cycle tracks. Spaces, often and junction but also at local centres along the routes, were identified as having potential for public realm enhancements. Urban Design proposals were made for such spaces and incorporated within the overall engineering and other scheme drawings.
BSM also prepared LVIA reports for all of the final schemes.
