BSM are appointed as Planning Consultants to a major residential development at St. Paul’s College, adjacent St. Anne’s Park, Dublin 15. The scheme contains c. 650 residential units on Z15 zoned lands. BSM were brought onto the project to bring the second Strategic Housing Development Application to Lodgement with An Bord Pleanála after the first Strategic Housing Development was subjected to Judicial Review.

The second Strategic Housing Development Application was permitted by An Bord Pleanála, with the support of Dublin City Council, but has unfortunately again been subjected to extensive legal judicial review in respect of the zoning of the lands and the issue surrounding Brent Geese on the site. An LRD Application was subsequently lodged and is currently awaiting decision by An Bord Pleanála.

BSM acted as planning consultants for the DCU Student Accommodation scheme on the main DCU Glasnevin Campus. The proposed scheme will include 1,240 bed spaces and communal living facilities, arranged across seven blocks of accommodation, ranging from 4 to 10 storeys in height. A sequence of landscaped ‘garden rooms’ provide defined external recreation spaces for residents and allow public access through the site.

BSM are appointed as Planning Consultant & Environmental Consultants to the Land Development Agency (LDA) delivering c. 400 units on a site owned by Dublin City Council which has been identified for regeneration
