River Liffey 2050
Urban Design , Planning, Visualisation
Commencing as a peer review of the Emerging Preferred Route, the onset of Covid 19 allowed Dublin City Council to adapt traffic lanes for use as cycle lanes.
The scope of the project quickly changed taking the temporary measures as the new baseline and considering what benefits these would bring to the overall long-term scheme. The project identifies opportunities for additional public spaces and connections, options for greater continuity of cycle and pedestrian infrastructure, and the greening of the Liffey Corridor with trees and other planting.
