Navan 2030
Urban Design, Landscape, Planning, Visualisation
The Navan 2030 Plan focuses on the regeneration of the historic Navan Town Centre's urban environment, exploring its potential for public realm enhancements, the rationalisation of public transport routes and services, and the redirection of through traffic around the town centre.
Public realm throughout much of the town centre is upgraded to create a far more integrated and pedestrian-centric town with high-quality materials and spaces bringing renewed life to the main streets.
Major spaces including Kennedy Plaza and Fairgreen are reconfigured to reduce vehicular dominance.
Medieval laneways are imagined to upgrade them from 'back lanes' to attractive and vibrant pedestrian connection within the town centre.
