Urban Design

Urban design is the design of towns and cities, streets and spaces. It is the collaborative and multi-disciplinary process of shaping and making places. It involves the design of streets, spaces and urban landscapes, and establishing the frameworks and actions which aim to deliver successful development by people over time

Our Urban Design projects include integrated city scale strategies, masterplans, regeneration strategies for towns and villages, and for streets and spaces. At BSM, pedestrian connectivity and active travel are prioritised while identifying ways and seeking opportunities in which streets and spaces can be enhanced to create attractive places for people while supporting economic growth, social and environmental value and social design.
