Senior Project Landscape Architect

Brady Shipman Martin is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary, design-led practice delivering excellence in the planning, design and construction of the built and natural environment. With offices in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, we provide specialist professional services to our clients in the areas of landscape architecture, planning, environment, masterplanning, urban design, and visualisation.

We have an opening for a fully qualified Senior Project Landscape Architect with 10 years' experience to join our team. The position will be based out of our Dublin office.

Key roles include:

  • Leading the design and production of landscape schemes from conception through to completion
  • Liaising with clients, design teams, contractors, local authorities, etc.
  • Collaboration with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Preparation and/or direction of all drawings, supporting graphics, tender documentation, specifications and written reports.
  • Undertaking site visits and site surveys, and site supervision of projects under construction

As a senior member of our team, you will have:

  • A recognised qualification in Landscape Architecture and full membership of the Irish Landscape Institute / Chartered Member of the UK Landscape Institute
  • Excellent design ability and technical competence
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to take instruction, delegate effectively, and work on your own initiative as required
  • A proven track record on all aspects of project delivery and management in private practice.
  • Excellent graphic skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up etc
  • Experience, versatility and enthusiasm in working on a wide variety of projects at different scales including amenity, leisure and public realm projects, large commercial and infrastructural developments, education and health campuses, and residential developments.
  • A confident and collaborative approach

You will have a senior role in the Practice, working closely with the Partners and staff across all disciplines, leading projects through all stages of development, managing project teams, and contributing to the future development of the practice.
